Adriel Mingo

An 18yr old 2010 graduate of Brockton High School in Brockton MA. He is the founder of Ascent-Health which under his direction was a awarded a $5000 grant in collaboration with the Robert R. Taylor Networks Student Ventures initiative.

 

Kathleen Simon:

Kathleen Simon, 2011 RRTN XStudio Intern, is a junior at Brockton High School, Brockton, MA, and she has always been in the top 16% of her class. Kathleen, a high achieving student, has been on the Honor Roll since sixth grade. She will be taking courses such as Honor’s English, Physics, and History this coming year. She enjoys studying mathematics and appreciates its simplicity.

Robert R. Taylor Network

Mr. Darian Hendricks is the CEO of RRTN and a mentor to both Adriel and Kathleen. Mr. Hendricks is an alumnus of MIT. Darian C. Hendricks has over 17 years experience working in both professional consulting and product companies, especially in the financial and energy services, retail, not-for-profit, technology and telecommunication sectors. Mr. Hendricks has been a Director and consultant for Sapient Corporation, Cambridge, MA, and a Senior Product Designer at Lotus Development Corporation, Cambridge, MA. Read More Here

 

Before joining RRTN, he was the Executive Editor of Black Entertainment Television’s online News channel.  Prior to BET, he worked as the editor of the News and Work & Money channels at America Online’s Black Voices.

With over 10 years of experience in online journalism, his writing and multimedia projects have covered a range of categories – spanning politics; technology; business; entertainment; spirituality and religion; pop culture; fine art; music; history; culture; and world affairs.
